The Mary Albright home is in a historical restoration process that is mainly funded through grants. This historical restoration project was started in 2001. This building had stood empty for the previous ten years. Eipert Construction started on this project in 2001 with rebuilding the built-in box gutters, eaves, and replacing the roof. The gutter system is now copper-lined and rebuilt entirely from scratch. The non-historical roof was removed and a new synthetic slate roof was installed. In 2004, Eipert Construction started the four exterior porches. During this time, the home was also having all its brickwork tuck pointed. Plans are in 2009 to replace all dentil molding, cornice brackets and all related exterior trim.
